Packing the bags

What to wear? Choosing from my extensive wardrobe ...NOT! But the question is, will there be a hurricane coming? It is hurricane season, after all, and no-one can forget the terrible Hurricane Katrina that wrecked havoc on New Orleans in August, 2005.

So, planning for the week ahead, I need to check the weather. 

Wow, it is looking like it is going to be awesome weather in New Orleans from Saturday 22nd to Thursday 27th.

So now what about Houston?

Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th look pretty hot, too! So it is time to break out the summer wear.  I guess I can put away the sweatshirts.  Leaving from Taupo and Auckland, I will require a bit more cover with a high of around 16 degrees being forecast.  Brrr still spring here.
